Sound Bath in the Park

This event is offered by Lucia Cortesao and Monica Bartelli, both local yoga teachers, sound healers and gong masters.

The event has been authorized by the Kingston Council, RBK Environment Team and RBK Licensing.

Who can join?

Anyone can benefit from sound healing as an holistic and alternative therapy.

The sound bath is specially recommended for people who are currently experiencing anxiety, depression, or other mental and physical conditions.

Children are welcome to join for free if they can stay silent and quiet so not to disturb others. We reserve the right to kindly ask you to move further away if your child is disturbing the peace for other participants. We apologise in advance for this and hope you can understand as our goal is to make this a deeply relaxing experience for all.

NOTE: Not recommended to sit too near the gong if you suffer from tinnitus.

Price

This event is open to all however we kindly accept donations. You can therefore pay what you want but we suggest a £10 donation for the 2 hours event.

By buying a ticket you will be supporting us and it will also allow us to estimate how many people will be attending.

Cancellations

We have a no refunds policy.

· If, due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance such as rain weather forecast, this event is cancelled by Lucia Cortesao, you will be offered a ticket transfer to any future event by YoFlo/Lucia Cortesao of your choice with a discount of the amount you donated for this Sound Bath in the Park event on the 16thSeptember 2023.

· If you can’t attend the event having already donated for it, you must contact Lucia and let her know as soon as possible. You will then be offered a ticket transfer in the same way as mentioned above.

Ticket Transfers

If you can’t or don’t wish to attend any replacement event you can contact Lucia to transfer your ticket to a friend. You will need to provide Lucia with your friend’s contact details and you need to make private arrangements with your friend regarding payment.

By attending this event you agree with the Release and Liability Waiver terms:

I wish to participate in the Sound Bath in the Park Event by YoFlo/Lucia Cortesao and Monica Bartelli on Saturday 16th September 2023 from 4-7pm at Canbury Park Gardens, Lower Ham Rd, Kingston Upon Thames KT2 5AU.

By voluntarily participating in the Event, I hereby forever agree to assume all risks involved in, related to, and arising out of my preparation, travel to and from, and participation in the Event.

I hereby voluntarily accept and incur full responsibility for all injuries, including but not limited to those caused in whole or in part by the negligence of YoFlo/Lucia Cortesao, Monica Bartelli and the Kingston Council that may arise out of my participation in the Event.

I understand that these risks and dangers may arise from my own actions, inactions, or negligence, as well as from the actions, inactions, or negligence of others and from other factors, including but not limited to the condition of the premises.

I hereby forever agree to release, indemnify, hold harmless, and defend YoFlo/Lucia Cortesao, Monica Bartelli and the Kingston Council from and against all losses, liabilities, damages, costs, lawsuits, claims, and actions that arise from or are related to my participation in the Event, or any other activity associated with the Event, whether caused by the negligence of Independence or otherwise.

I hereby represent that I am of full legal age and have every right to enter into this agreement on behalf of myself.

I hereby represent that I am in good health and have no physical or mental condition that would prevent me from safely participating in the Event.

I hereby grant all rights and consent to use, re-use, publish or re-publish, copy, exhibit or distribute all photographs and/or video of myself for YoFlo/Lucia Cortesao and Monica Bartelli to use for social media websites and any educational, training, or promotional electronic or printed material without restriction as to frequency or duration of usage and without compensation.

I hereby acknowledge and represent that I have read and understand this agreement and I am joining this Event voluntarily and at my own risk.

I hereby acknowledge I take full responsibility and risk for any underage child or participant I bring with me to this event.
